Check Out John Williams' New Score For Disney's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

19 November 2018

You can visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland in Summer 2019 and at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Fall 2019.

Visitors to Disney's parks have come to expect a high level of immersion, and that certainly appears to be the case with Galaxy's Edge.

In the video, Williams directs a massive orchestra. John Williams is composing music for the new lands, and you can see and hear him working on it below. To build suspense and excitement, Disney chose to insert overhead shots of the park as b-roll.

The two signature attractions of the "lands" now under construction will be "Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run", in which guests can take the controls in three different roles, and "Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance", offering an "epic battle" between the First Order and the Resistance.

Federer routs Thiem to keep chances alive at ATP Finals
Federer will face South African Anderson in their final group match on Thursday. I can't talk about what would come next because it's a hard match in itself.

In a story discussing the Millenium Falcon ride past year, creators shared their ideas and dreams for the park.

It's a day long-awaited by Star Wars and Disney fans everywhere.

Additionally, /Film reveals blueprints for the park's hotel.

The theme park sections are set to open in Disneyland in California and Disney World in Orlando, and will feature a life-size Millennium Falcon that you can walk around and actually pilot (well, sort of). If the execution of Pandora at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Orlando is any indication, we're in for an extremely detailed experience with Galaxy's Edge, and I can't wait to get a look at it. You can get a glimpse of that here.
