OnePlus 6T is expected to launch sometime this month, so keep an eye out for when the device launches officially. In-display fingerprint sensors are rare in smartphones now, a handful of devices from Vivo such as Vivo X20 Plus UD, Vivo X21 and Vivo Nex and OPPO R17 come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Unlike it rumoured earlier, the OnePlus 6T will have only dual camera setup on the rear side. OnePlus had to cut everyone's favorite jack in order to make room for the new scanner, which takes the form of an image sensor embedded underneath the display of the OnePlus 6T.

When a phone like OnePlus 6T is around the corner, awaiting its launch, there are bound to be a lot of rumours, leaks and speculations popping up across the internet.

In a recent interview with CNET, OnePlus co-founder and CEO Pete Lau reiterated a few things that we already knew. Though the notch area in the OnePlus 6 is among the smallest when compared with other notch screen-based smartphones, it would be trimmed even more and reduced to a size of a big dot, enough to accommodate just the front camera. The OnePlus 6T will be more water resistant than its predecessor, but OnePlus doesn't want to pay the price to get the official rating. The OnePlus 6T will be available in Mirror Black and Midnight Black. As you can see in the images, the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone has been now moved under the screen, making it feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. If you look closely, it looks slightly different from OnePlus 6 with a slimmer design and flatter look and feel to it.

Ryder Cup 2018: Rory McIlroy outburst backfires - but Europe remain on top
US captain Jim Furyk said he would shake up the order for Saturday afternoon foursomes, and that meant keeping Lefty on the bench. Although they were 4 DOWN, the European pair fronted up with birdies on 14 and 15. "They did that a lot to us".

OnePlus has not been shy in releasing the odd detail on its next smartphone, with a teaser video hitting Twitter last week.

Given that Lau touched on the phone's only features that OnePlus could reasonably change from OnePlus 6, including the fingerprint sensor, headphone jack, battery charging, and IP rating, we now know nearly everything there is to know about the upcoming OnePlus 6T.

As you can see we can also view the teardrop notch in the 6.28-inch 2280×1080 resolution AMOLED display. The OnePlus 6T is likely to ship with Android 9 Pie OS with Oxygen OS 9.0 to offer the latest OS from Google. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/256GB of internal storage.
