Omarosa Manigault-Newman has been on a whirlwind media blitz over the past couple of days in anticipation of her new book release, and it was all the late-night hosts could do to keep up with her.
A former contestant on his TV show "The Apprentice", Manigault Newman joined the campaign and became an assistant to the president, earning $179,000 a year as director of communications for the White House office of public liaison.
"Omarosa had Zero credibility with the Media (they didn't want interviews) when she worked in the White House", Trump wrote. "Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!"
Kellyanne Conway, a top aide to Trump and one of Trump's 2016 campaign managers, also signaled to reporters on Tuesday that she told Trump about rumors that an audio tape of him using the N-word existed.
In the recording, then-campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson can be heard saying: "I am trying to find at least what context it was used in to help us maybe try to figure out a way to spin it". "She made it up", Trump wrote. "I said, 'Well, sir, can you think of anytime where this happened?' And he said, 'no, '" Patton can be heard saying.
"He said it. No, he said it".
"He said it", Pierson says.
Omarosa's Recording Is a 'Violation'
Writing on Twitter , he said: " Wacky Omarosa , who got fired three times on the Apprentice , now got fired for the last time". The American Civil Liberties Union called the private agreements for public employees "unconstitutional and unenforceable".
"She knew that Celebrity Big Brother might be make-or-break for her landing a book deal and she maximized that moment", the insider source told The Daily Mail.
"Can you stand at the podium and guarantee the American people that they'll never hear Donald Trump utter the n-word on a recording in any context?" "So she's very well advised to get legal counsel". "It wasn't until this individual started to negatively attack this president and this administration and try to tear this entire place down that she received the type of platform and rollout that she's getting..."
Ms Manigault-Newman apparently made the recordings after being called into the White House situation room, and fired by White House chief of staff John Kelly.
"In her secret tape recording of me, it was one of many times that I would placate Omarosa to move the discussion along because I was tired of her obsession over this alleged tape", Pierson wrote. In it, Manigault Newman describes the recorded conversation as being a conference call held on October 11, 2016. "I can't stand @OMAROSA a bully, back stabber & big mouth".
"I can tell you it's absolutely 100 percent not true", he said, adding that he had to sign the same document when he left the White House last fall for a position with the vice president.
"That's the extent I can go in discussing that as well", she said. "She's not a friend; she's a liar, and I would say she's evil". Katy Tur asked during her MSNBC hour. She told Sean Spicer to stop calling on me.
