Warriors rumors: National Basketball Association writer suggests Kevin Durant should leave Golden State

07 June 2018

The Golden State Warriors, up 2-0 in the best of seven 2018 NBA Finals, meet the Cleveland Cavaliers, led by LeBron James, in Game 3 of the league championship series on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 (6/6/18) at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. 'It won't be Golden State or Cleveland going.' James's comments came in response to a question about President Donald Trump's decision to disinvite the Philadelphia Eagles to the White House on Tuesday.

"I know it feels like we're down 2-0, and I don't like the way I feel", James said. "I'm not suprised. Typical of him".

"So you got Cleveland, Philly, Boston, Houston, LA, Golden State".

"When you're down like this, in a deficit like this versus a team like this, there's no good feeling", James said following practice Tuesday. "It's unfortunate but we all have to do what we have to do and the Eagles fall right into that".

The Cavaliers' LeBron James and the Warriors' Stephen Curry both separately stated that should their team win the championship, they will not visit the White House.

"Especially in Cleveland, with LeBron, we know about their crowd, this environment and the force they bring in this building", Kerr added. "I agree with 'Bron". Pretty sure the way we handled things past year, kind of stay consistent with that.

The potential penalties could affect Mexico , Canada , Japan and the European Union. Well, now the White House is pressing ahead and adding new pressure on China.

"At the end of the day, like I said, every team has an opportunity to make a decision for themselves and speak for themselves".

Trump set off a firestorm Monday when he announced there would be no customary White House visit for the Super Bowl champions, alluding to NFL players kneeling for the national anthem and the ensuing controversy last season. "That's the biggest thing", Kerr said while speaking to reporters on June 5 before the Warriors practiced at The Q. "I got to the bench, first thing that came to my mind I was like, 'OK, I was calling a timeout.' But hopefully, I'm glad maybe if we didn't have any, I'm glad they didn't give it to me". Instead, the squad traveled to Washington to work with disadvantaged children, a new tradition which Curry says he would be happy to continue.

So, it's not surprising hearing the news today with the Eagles.

"I felt that way about J.R. that way in that moment... but if you're LeBron James and you're the leader, you have to get past that immediately".

Durant said the Eagles snub was no shock, saying "What else do you expect Trump to do?" but call off the event "so the photo op won't look so bad". I don't think it's a coincidence that we have gone through this together and there haven't really been any issues in the National Basketball Association.

James said he hesitated on calling a timeout when Smith was dribbling away from the basket because he wasn't totally sure the Cavs had one and it could've led to a technical foul.
