Fleetwood Mac — CONCERT ALERT

27 April 2018

The band recently parted ways with longtime guitarist Lindsey Buckingham.

Tom Petty's former guitarist with The Heartbreakers, Mike Campbell, and Crowded House frontman Neil Finn will replace Buckingham during the North American tour. "I've known Stevie for years and we've always been very creative together".

Unlike so many bands that remain active in the late 2010's, after having started in the late 1960's, Fleetwood Mac has kept more or less the same lineup throughout their career.

Fleetwood Mac is no stranger to Birmingham; the band made its last appearance here in June 2003 at the BJCC, with a lineup that included Buckingham but not Christine McVie.

Moon-Trump meeting possible before US-N. Korea summit
Seoul said Moon will brief Trump by phone immediately after Friday's summit, and promised "close co-ordination" with the US. President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un .

Drummer Mick Fleetwood insists he and his bandmates had no choice but to let Lindsey go: "We arrived at the impasse of hitting a brick wall".

Tickets for the Madison Square Garden show are $69.50-$299.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m.

"Fleetwood Mac has always been about an wonderful collection of songs that are performed with a unique blend of talents", said Mick Fleetwood. "We were never able to do that since 1975 because certain people in the band weren't interested in doing that", Nicks said pointedly. "Majority rules in term of what we need to do as a band and go forward".

The good news for Fleetwood Mac fans is that Buckingham's departure isn't keeping the band from getting back on the road.

Fleetwood Mac is going their own way (see what we did there?) with two new musicians, a month after letting go of Lindsay Buckingham over "scheduling conflicts", Rolling Stone is reporting. "We are really looking forward to a great night". The Cleveland show is one of two scheduled OH stops, as the band will also play Columbus' Nationwide Arena Nov. 7.
