Kerwin Roach II of Texas to enter National Basketball Association draft to test status

28 March 2018

As NBA teams increasingly value 3-point shooting and defending wings, Ball will have an opportunity to prove to teams that he is a potential draft pick. LaMelo, the youngest of the Ball brothers, has played alongside LiAngelo with Vytautas Prienu since the two made their debut for the club in January.

Roach averaged 12.3 points and 3.7 rebounds this season and often guarded the opponent's best perimeter player.

This morning LiAngelo submitted early-entry paperwork to enter the June draft.

But will a team select him?

"He's going to be taken care of either way", LaVar Ball said of LiAngelo Ball.

New York Giants general manager Dave Gettleman addressed multiple topics about star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr . on Tuesday. Earlier in March, a video surfaced of the wide receiver with what appeared to be cocaine and a brown cigarette in hand.

With the 72 points, LiAngelo matched his career-high effort as a senior at Chino Hills (Calif.). His tenure at UCLA didn't last long though.

Ball, the 19-year-old brother of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, has been playing professionally in Lithuania after leaving UCLA.

There are a lot of moving parts but it seems as if LiAngelo is trying to mature from the UCLA shoplifting scandal in China. Just today (March 27), he scored 72 points in a BBB challenge game which is not associated with the LKL (Lietuvos Krepsinio Lyga) as it's main goal is to develop Gelo and Melo as basketball players against youth teams.

LiAngelo has played well in Lithuania, averaging a league-leading 15.7 points while making an impressive 45 percent of his three-point attempts in nine first-division games. He also got 11 rebounds. Gelo will also work out privately with multiple National Basketball Association teams.
