Porn actress Stormy Daniels physically threatened over Trump affair: lawyer

17 March 2018

"Yes", Avenatti responded when asked by MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski if Daniels has been threatened with "physical harm".

Asked if Daniels was physically threatened, Avenatti said "yes", but did not provide details. He said Clifford would elaborate on it during a CBS 60 Minutes interview broadcast on 25 March. According to the lawsuit, Trump never signed a non-disclosure agreement arranged between Cohen and Clifford to keep her quiet about their alleged affair.

Journalist Natasha Stoynoff, who accused Trump of pinning her against a wall and kissing her in 2005, told People that she is also a fan of Daniels. Trump has not commented on the alleged affair.

Stormy Daniels' lawyer, Michael Avenatti, spoke with the co-hosts of Morning Joe, as seen in the below video.

SO MANY new updates to share in the ongoing saga between Stormy Daniels and the Cheeto-In-Chief, President Donald Trump!

Daniels, who was born as Stephanie Clifford, was furious, as she should be, when she found out that Cohen - unlike her - had violated the agreement by confessing he paid her $130,000 out of his own pocket.

Arizona Cardinals to sign quarterback Sam Bradford
The 30-year-old Bradford is an eight-year pro who was selected by the Rams with the first overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. But ultimately, losing Bradford is no sweat off the Vikings' back after the team did just fine without him in 2017.

But Daniels is determined to capitalize on the affair she says she had with Trump years before he became commander in chief.

I need funds to pay for: attorneys' fees; out-of-pocket costs associated with the lawsuit, arbitration, and my right to speak openly; security expenses; and damages that may be awarded against me if I speak out and ultimately lose to Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen.

"Was she threatened in any way?" "I want to stress that we have not vetted these stories to a great degree, however the initial consultation, the initial information that we're receiving indicate that there are some striking similarities between their stories and that of my client, Miss Clifford". Avenatti also told Cuomo his legal team is "not vouching for these stories" and said it was possible he won't represent the women.

The payment, which Cohen admitted to making, was made through a private LLC.

Avenatti said that the idea that an attorney would make such a payment on behalf of a client without even consulting the client was "ludicrous, preposterous, ridiculous, without any basis in fact, it's unheard of, and ... it's nonsense".
