Four security personnel killed in Quetta attack

At least four security personnel were killed when some unknown miscreants ambushed them in Pakistan's southwestern city of Quetta on Wednesday, said a senior police official.

According to reports, unidentified men targeted the vehicle while it was on routine patrol duty on Sariab Road- the assailants fled after the attack.

The TTP claimed responsibility in a statement by its spokesperson, Muhammed Khurasani, saying that "the attack was carried out by a contingent of the TTP Special Task Force and that the attackers left the area without harm".
