Daniel Cormier (19-1) defends the light heavyweight title against Switzerland's Volkan Oezdemir (15-1).

Miocic then managed a lovely takedown that took the 31-year-old to the unfamiliar surroundings of the canvas where he looked in real trouble.

It was the fifth UFC event held at the TD Garden and marked the highest attendance ever for the company.
