Nintendo's Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp coming to Play Store this week

22 November 2017

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp will land on the iPhone and Android on Wednesday the 22nd of November. This is the second time the app's stated release window has been ignored, the first being when the app debuted on Australia's iTunes/App Store and Google Play store within 12 hours of the Nintendo Direct showcasing what was to come.

The mobile version of Animal Crossing is already out on Android, and free to download from the Google Play Store. And it wouldn't be an Animal Crossing game without the ability to go into deep debt.

Regardless, happy Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp release day... again!

Animal Crossing is based on Nintendo's 3DS title Animal Crossing: New Leaf - Welcome amiibo and includes some of the same characters. Nintendo came out to say that this game was a much longer developed and produced product, making it a higher-quality free mobile game. Craft and decorate with their favorite items, and you'll be able to host them whenever you like-even if you change up your decorations completely! Or, if you're in a hurry, you can move your order to the very front of the line by using Leaf Tickets. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will be coming to mobile devices worldwide on 11/22!

There are in-app purchases if you want to speed the process along using real money, but Nintendo has stressed that these are entirely optional.

"Your campsite can be anything you like-from a traditional space that celebrates nature to a flashy fun house with concerts and rides".

"You can also customize your camper, visit your friends' campsites to get ideas for your own, and meet new animal friends as you explore recreational areas!" If the animals need something, you can help them out and then earn cool rewards for doing so.
