Sevilla sign Nolito from Manchester City on three-year contract

17 July 2017

The Spain global Nolito has returned to his home country to complete a medical after Sevilla announced they had reached an agreement with City to sign the 30-year-old forward for around £7.9m. The fee is reported to be £7.9m.

The expected sale of Nolito is a substantial financial loss for City, who signed him from Celta Vigo last summer for £13.8m.

With Vitolo set for an Athletico Madrid move, Nolito would seem the flawless replacement for him and that is why he was one of the top transfer targets of Eduardo.

Nolito had a promising start to life in England, but his time quickly soured, eventually only making 19 Premier League appearances, scoring four goals.

Aladdin Live-Action Cast Revealed
In the animated Aladdin , Robin Williams voiced the character and created one of the most famous Disney Animated characters. Though the role of the villain Jafar has not been cast, shooting for the film is set to begin in August.

Nolito has 16 caps for Spain and has bagged 6 goals.

The report claims that they will also try to sign former Manchester City forward Stevan Jovetic and Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma this summer.

A return to Celta, who he had played for between 2013 and 2016, had been mooted, but he instead joins Sevilla, a side keen on him since the start of the transfer window and can offer UEFA Champions League football. "I have several teams I'd prefer to join", Nolito said.
