Spicer Won't Say Whether Trump Has Confidence in Sessions

07 June 2017

Trump's Monday tweet about Khan called the mayor's pushback a "pathetic excuse".

Both of these statements can't be true. Gorka called it "really disappointing" Cuomo was bringing up Trump's tweets, saying "let's talk about policy".

Federal court decisions have already cited statements by Trump on the campaign trail, as well as comments by aides, in decisions as judges sought to determine intent. "They hate that I can get the honest and unfiltered message out". Normally, we'd wonder how the president feels about that - but hey, this is Trump. And Trump's use of Twitter gives us that access in ways that would be unimaginable if he was a more orthodox or traditional president. It's a unique audience that, prior to social media, might have been hard to reach.

Daily local news headlines from across Gwinnett County.

"You take them seriously because they are our President's thoughts". However, the nuances at the end, there will be a certain filter they go through when they become official policy. So there is a balance.

Trump 'Poised To Quit Paris Climate Deal'
So even if the US were to withdraw from the accord, many said the not likely to stop reducing its carbon pollution. They said the deal would require the USA government to regulate greenhouse gas emissions, which would hurt business.

Monday was another one of those days: a day in which the president of the United States woke up, grabbed his phone, and began to tweet out whatever was on his mind while he, it seems, watched television. "But at the same time I do think that the media obsesses over every period, dot".

So. Um. Here's the thing. The moment was brief and Sessions made the suggestion after weeks of Trump's disgruntlement and tense private meetings, according to the two people close to the White House who requested anonymity to speak candidly. That Twitter is the authentic Trump, the one not lawyered up and filtered down.

A trio of top White House officials - chief of staff Reince Priebus, chief strategist Steve Bannon and senior adviser Jared Kushner - had been making plans to create an in-house "war room" to respond to the flood of revelations related to the FBI and congressional investigations. If the communications team at the White House and the President himself believe that the coverage of these tweets is not beneficial to the White House, there is a very easy solution and that is for him to stop tweeting.

The frustration comes at a critical juncture for Trump.

In its effort to regain control of its message, the White House has curtailed press briefings, redirected questions on the Russian Federation investigation to an outside lawyer and planned a major infrastructure policy rollout for this week.
