Ming-Chi Kuo, a KGI Securities analyst dubbed foremost expert on Apple, has told website 9to5Mac that the production of the iPhone 8 will only start in October or November.
The image also shows a vertical dual-lens camera at the back with a LED flash in the center. Once these materials arrive at Apple headquarters, reports should provide further indication of the potential iPhone releases. However the highlight of all this is that it will have a 5.2 inch screen (which will occupy much of the front) in a casing with dimensions similar to those of iPhone 7 with 4.7 inch screen.
The most interesting omission is no rear Touch ID.
The iPhone 8 won't be Apple's only new phone this year, with the handset tipped to drop alongside less headline grabbing iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus updates.
The technology is expected to replace OLED displays in the Apple Watch and may allow in-display fingerprint scanning when combined with infrared diodes, according to a recent patent filing. Apple's invention is created to improve wireless circuitry systems using patch antennas. Each device contains one or more antennas coupled to wireless circuitry capable of making phase and magnitude adjustments to transmitted and received signals. However, there is no Touch ID button found in the rear portion of the phone based on the leaked image.

The fire has been elevated to Type I status because of its complexity, according to the Southwest Incident Management Team. Residents of those communities were allowed to access their homes using Highway 83, which remained closed to the public.
The schematic also includes a large circular area, which could be related to implementation of some kind of wireless charging technology.
Like other wireless charging techniques, including more conventional "inductive" charging, the design would require both a transmitter and receiver to work.
"Despite upgraded features like each new flagship iPhone release, the legacy models accounted for nearly a third of iPhones sold in the quarter, the highest percentage since Apple (aapl) started releasing two new phones each fall in 2014", CIRP partner and co-founder Josh Lowitz said in a statement.
These smartphone manufacturers are also gearing up to launch high-end full-screen phones this year and all could have an effect particularly on the LCD models of the 2017 iPhone.
There have been some sporadic claims in the past months that the iPhone 8 would feature "truly" wireless charging - somehow able to receive power over the air without the need for capacitive pads.
