Eventually, he turns to the Speed Force for answers while H. Why is it that the mystical explanations for everything in comic book universes can sometimes come across as so hokey and ridiculous? As someone who's been in a stable relationship for 17 years, one that's suffered its share of problems, I can verify that this is pretty much the exact opposite of the way intelligent couples behave. Maybe it is because the writers on this show tend to treat the ethereal realm that ties together all Speedsters from the corners of the multiverse with scripts that feel like lackluster retellings of A Christmas Carol.
The preview for the sixteenth episode of The Flash Season 3 opens with Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) vowing to get Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) back from the speed force.
In the end, Wally was indeed saved from the Speed Force, but it came at a great cost to him. Should be easy, right? She's anxious if she made the wrong decision by calling things off with Barry. Sure, he probably proposed partially to try to change the future - but he also (obviously) still loves her. Better yet, the way that Barry and Wally were able to leave the Speed Force?
- while it's always good to see old characters return, I only missed Leonard Snart in actuality. Even if these three actors are actually playing the Speed Force pretending to be their former roles, it still is nice to see characters gone too soon. As we saw at the finale of the previous episode of The Flash Season 3, Kid Flash traded places with the evil speed god Savitar and is now trapped within the speed force itself. Eddie says he has to outrun the time wraiths through a pair of doors. We've already seen Eobard Thawne butt heads with Black Flash over on Legends of Tomorrow, and he was no less terrifying in his Flash debut.
Then Lenoard Snart shows up for Barry's nightmare despite Barry trying to trade places for Wally's Hell but then his Dad appears.
Lukaku deal still very much on the table
Sky Sports News HQ's Merseyside reporter Vinny O'Connor takes a closer look at Romelu Lukaku's contract situation at Everton ... Romelu (23) has informed the Toffees that he has no intention to renew his contract with just 2 years remaining.
Barry first encounters Eddie in the speed force, who tells him Wally is in the prison his future self created."We gave you your speed back because you said you'd come to terms with your mother's death, but you lied to us you went back in time to save her and created flashpoint". Anyway, the team is finally chasing down the last pieces of the Spear of Destiny, which will involve going to the moon in Apollo 13.
Savitar earlier told The Flash about the prophecies. Jesse runs around Savitar and throws lightning at him to no effect. The Flash just keeps on beating its own times this season, and it's great.
- Didn't you learn your lesson with Arrow, CW?? That wasn't enough for Jessie Quick though, determined to deliver her own version of revenge on Savitar and thus putting herself in danger. Yeah, after everything, Barry decides to halt his relationship with Iris. "I have no idea and it's a little alarming". There, the Speed Force looked like his parents Henry (John Wesley Shipp) and Nora (Michelle Harrison), as well as his other family members, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton). That means the show is back to a single Speedster in the home stretch of the season.
For, I dunno, the third or fourth time this year, I was prepared to write some kind of 500 word variation of "this episode was okay" and then "Into the Speed Force" chose to shake things up. Tonight's episode started strong but didn't quite work for me in the end.
