Hawks' Dennis Schroder benched after argument with Dwight Howard

08 March 2017

The Golden State Warriors may be 51-11 on the year and well on their way to the top seed in the Western Conference.

The bench came in and more than answered the call.

The Golden State Warriors finally ended their worst (regular season) losing streak since 2015. "But I guess that's how it was back in the day".

It's only the first week of March, but we're nearing the point of this New York Knicks season when the standings are irrelevant. But Iguodala and the Warriors bench picked up the slack, outscoring the Atlanta reserves 55-37.

However, Schroder was hooked with 9:30 left in the third quarter, with coach Mike Budenholzer clearly unhappy with his defensive work.

The topic of conversation after the game was Budenholzer benching Schroder.

Schroder was clearly miffed by the move, especially with the Hawks going on to their sixth loss in the last eight games. "I don't know what's going to happen at the end of this week, but we'll keep an eye on everybody". Don't miss a single second of this game! "But I don't get that one".

WHAT'S NEXT: The Warriors return to the Bay Area for one game, facing the Boston Celtics Wednesday night at Oracle Arena.

Low-intensity blast in passenger train in Madhya Pradesh: Railways
A special medical train of railways has also reached at the site. "The blast was reported on seat number 51", Sheohar SP said. Several teams of Railway officials, the Intelligence Bureau and Anti Terrorism Squad were present at the site.

"Just a coach's decision", Budenholzer said.

With Kevin Durant unavailable, we know that the team will need other players to step up on both offense and defense. The home team in particular.

Thompson was scoreless over the first two quarters, missing his only two shots while picking up three fouls.

"Just the way we were playing wasn't great, so we wanted to get back to who we are".

"It was really good for us, and it shows our depth", Iguodala said. Get on the same page.

"You sort of take it for granted because every National Basketball Association game, you got all this stuff going on, music in the background", said Warriors coach Steve Kerr. "It just cost us a 3". He's been their best player and without him it's hard to imagine the Warriors can reach the NBA Finals for a third straight year.

The harshest rebuke came from Warriors power forward Draymond Green who decried the move as "disrespectful" to the league. Every Golden State starter had a negative plus-minus mark at intermission.

Hawks: Paul Millsap had 20 points and 10 rebounds. Howard grabbed a game-high 19 rebounds. Rookie guard Ron Baker also had a strong afternoon: NY outscored Golden State by 10 in Baker's 23 minutes as the 22-year-old hounded Warriors star Stephen Curry on multiple possessions. In an interesting twist, his second game with Atlanta was against the team he was supposed to be with to finish out the season. "Old Andre. Highlights that I used to watch of him". Although there are other players on each team that have the potential to make a three-point shot, the Cavs depth have made them favorites to win the 2017 National Basketball Association championship.
