The Weather section defaults to your current location but you can change that by clicking the Settings button.
The app is still not available to everyone.
A spokesperson from Facebook told TechCrunch that the weather section is now visible to 95 percent of mobile app users all around the world. Facebook says that it will also allow users to set notifications for receiving weather forecasts.
The company says more detailed greetings are currently being tested now - with further updates likely to be available by the end of this month. Offering weather information inside the Facebook mobile app will keep users from leaving it for a dedicated weather app if they want to know whether to carry an umbrella with them.
It is said that the idea behind implementing this feature is to ensure that the users stay hooked onto the Facebook app.
You can switch between your saved locations via the settings tab. The Weather section is added in the app's menu to check forecasts. A link at the bottom also redirects users to weather.com for more details.

Facebook is once again in the news and this time for its latest innovation.
This is a new addition to other updates they've already rolled out this year, including the "Discover People" feature which encourages users to find dates, friends and business connections by meeting strangers through the site. They'll get back to you on Messenger to confirm your appointment.
